Role Overview :

We're looking for a Field Engineer with a background in Civil / Structural Engineering to join our Engineering team.

This is no ordinary engineering job, as ours is a high-performing and supportive working culture. This is a "bench role" created to build a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

What does the role involve?

1. Secure technical business opportunities through specifications and provide ongoing technical support to key stakeholders.
2. Collaborate with sales teams to convert specifications into sales and foster expertise in our engineering products among sales personnel.
3. Maximize sales potential by identifying and pursuing opportunities with targeted customer groups and projects.
4. Manage sales and application processes for regional projects, coordinating engineering and sales resources.
5. Develop and analyze business plans to expand sales within your customer base.
6. Use consultative selling skills to demonstrate the value of our products, software, and services.
7. Build strong client relationships, offering innovative and cost-effective solutions.
8. Provide engineering support and training to stakeholders to ensure quality service.
9. Cultivate relationships with decision-makers to secure product specifications.
10. Attain specifications and drive sales through interactions with consultants and contractors.
11. Collaborate with sales to address client concerns and generate new leads.

What you need is :

• Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry, on-site or in consulting.
• Strong understanding of industry trends and practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to learning.
