Then Bio-Rad's Field Application Specialist role could be your next challenge! Bio-Rad Life Science Group is hiring a highly motivated Field Application Specialist with expertise in Proteomics.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong collaboration skills, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

You will be part of a high-performing team including the General Manager, Senior Channel Sales Manager, Channel Sales Manager, Marketing Managers, Field Application Specialists, and Service Engineers, supporting Channel partners in Sub-Saharan Africa.

This is a field-based role with local and international travel.

How You'll Make an Impact

1. Ensure both short-term and long-term sales success within your Proteomics application area, including Western Blot workflow, Imaging solutions, Chromatography, and Antibodies.
2. Leverage your scientific expertise in field sales activities to generate new business opportunities through meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars, and training sessions.
3. Provide application support for customers using installed instruments, collaborating with Technical Support, Service, and Sales teams.
4. Plan and execute sales activities targeting high-value customers and market segments.
5. Focus on Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers in strategically important accounts.
6. Maintain expert knowledge of the technology and applications in your area, sharing insights and training the sales team.
7. Keep a basic understanding of the full product portfolio to identify new sales opportunities.

What You Bring

• BSc in Life Sciences or Biotechnology; Master's or PhD preferred.
• 2-3 years of commercial or sales experience in the Life Science/Diagnostics industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Sales and/or laboratory experience required.
• Experience in seminars, workshops, or training presentations is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Driver's License is required.
