Our sales team based in Johannesburg is dedicated to partnering with organizations in Africa to address and solve complex risk problems.

You will be joining a high-performance sales team in a business enjoying significant growth, a Global FTSE, and well-renowned in the market.

About the role:

The Field Account Manager role will ensure and grow additional revenue opportunities and protect the revenue base via a total solution strategic approach within the book of business.

Your focus will be on developing existing customers in the North, West, and Central Africa region, working mostly with Banking and Financial Services Sectors. Some travel may be required to support customers and attend events.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying opportunities for revenue expansion within existing accounts.
  2. Working collaboratively with customers to introduce relevant solutions that enhance their operations.
  3. Engaging in consultative discussions to showcase additional product capabilities and benefits.
  4. Managing customer roadmap retention plans/actions to ensure protection of base revenue.
  5. Developing a proactive engagement strategy to maximize customer retention and satisfaction.
  6. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring continuous alignment with their business objectives.
  7. Monitoring customer usage and adoption, leveraging data to drive renewal conversations.
  8. Supporting the efforts of the regional Business Development Managers including on-site visits, demonstrations, and customer educational activities.

Requirements:

  1. Be fluent in French.
  2. Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  3. Experience in managing key customers and interacting with multiple stakeholders & departments.
  4. Possess excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong organizational and forecasting skills.
  6. Be able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
  7. Be proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  8. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
