Job summary

FirstRand Limited, Bloemfontein-based, is seeking an Estates Specialist to manage end-to-end Deceased Estates Administration in compliance with the Estates Act. The role requires 5–8 years’ fiduciary experience, strong drafting and stakeholder skills, and an LLB degree.

Qualifications

• LLB degree essential and fiduciary background preferred.
• 5–8 years’ experience administering complex deceased estates, high net worth clients.
• Experience with businesses, farming properties, and estate tax considerations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end deceased estates administration in terms of the Estates Act.
• Manage customer relationships and escalations within fiduciary services.
• Apply legal knowledge to solve complexities in estate administration.
• Draft documentation and ensure risk and compliance requirements are met.
