Job summary

RMB in Bloemfontein is seeking an Estates Specialist responsible for onboarding, administration, and finalisation of deceased estates in full compliance with the applicable acts. The role is based in Bloemfontein and requires you to work from this location.

You will manage end-to-end administration, client relationships, risk and compliance, and require strong drafting and analytical skills; experience with farming properties and estates is advantageous.

Qualifications

• LLB degree essential.
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience administering complex deceased estates.
• Experience with businesses, farming properties advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end to end Deceased Estates Administration in terms of the administration of estates act.
• Manage customer relationships and escalations.
• Utilise legal knowledge to solve complexities in estate administration.
• Understand business entities, estate duty, capital gains and income tax relating to deceased estates.
• Draft communications and ensure compliance.
• Manage risk and compliance features within fiduciary industry.
