We are Hiring: Fiduciary Assistant

Location: Cape Town (In-office role)

Experience: 3+ years in Trust and/or Estate Administration

Qualifications: Relevant legal, accounting or fiduciary qualification (LLB, BProc, FPSA or equivalent)

Are you an experienced professional with a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for trust and estate administration? Join our dedicated Cape Town team and play a vital role in managing complex fiduciary matters with care and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

·Trust Administration

·Liaise with clients, trustees and beneficiaries

·Arrange and prepare trustee meetings, including meeting packs and coordination with service providers

·Draft minutes, agendas, resolutions, trust deeds and related documentation

·Maintain and update trust files and electronic systems

·Communicate with the Master of the High Court and other stakeholders

·Deceased Estate Administration

·Administer simple and complex estates

·Draft Liquidation and Distribution Accounts

·Liaise with the Master’s office, clients and service providers

·Provide general assistance on estates within the firm

·Drafting & Legal Support

·Draft wills, contracts, trust deeds and other legal documents

·Conduct legal research and liaise on litigious matters when required

·General Office Support

·Record minutes and manage documentation

·Assist with banking, invoicing, collections and timekeeping

·Support reception and switchboard duties if needed

·Work closely with directors and the wider team to deliver exceptional client service
