Job description

The Technical SME (Domain Expert) will be responsible for implementing decision solutions primarily using Blaze Advisor / Decision Modeler.

Job Responsibilities

1. Create and maintain documentation of work delivered and knowledge artifacts for BAU support of implemented projects.
2. Facilitate discussions to obtain approval on designs based on documented requirements from all stakeholders.
3. Design and implement Blaze Advisor rule repositories, including rule writing and testing.
4. Understand and communicate both business and technical objectives / requirements from multiple perspectives, including business and internal development views.
5. Coordinate efforts with the offshore development team.
6. Build relationships with stakeholders across all levels, leveraging these relationships to validate assumptions, acquire information, negotiate, resolve issues, manage change, and achieve consensus.
7. Perform sanity checks on existing Blaze Advisor rule repository implementations.
8. Configure and implement rule repository testing frameworks.
9. Continuously seek to improve product and technical knowledge.
10. Install and configure Blaze Advisor.

Technical Knowledge

• Java (bonus but not required)
• Experience with Blaze Development (bonus but not required)

Essential Qualifications (NQF Level)

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification

• Technically related degree (BSc Hons or above) or equivalent work experience
