Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Fiber Optic Network Technician to join our Rustenburg-based team. You will install, maintain, and repair fiber networks for residential and business customers, working in the field with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in fiber optics are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Technician or in a related telecommunications field.
• Proficiency with fiber optic tools and testing equipment (e.g., fusion splicer, OTDR).
• Strong understanding of fiber optic principles, cable management, and network topologies.
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical specifications.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record are essential for field service.
