Job Overview

The position will be based in Wadeville, and the incumbent will report to the Foreman.

Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

• Must be able to operate an angle grinder andpneumatic tools;
• Fabricate shuttle cars components and sub-assemblies in line with KMC specifications;
• Ability to learn how to operate lifting equipment;
• Able to maintain good housekeeping;
• Ability to use descaler;
• Ability to work at heights;
• Understand and implement company’s safety standards, must adhere to zero harm.

Minimum Skills Required

• Grade 12 or equivalent;
• 2 years’ experience in heavy engineering environment;
• Experience in working in heavy fabrication environment
• Must have experience in working with power tools;
• Valid crane licence will be an advantage;
• Ability to work with teams and individual at times.
