You will collaborate with research and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient, reproducible bioprocesses and drive innovations in sustainable production methods.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biochemical/chemical engineering, biotechnology, or related field.
• Proven experience in microbial fermentation process development and optimization.
• Strong understanding of bioreactor design and operation.
• Experience with analytical techniques for characterizing fermentation products.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and microbial containment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize fermentation processes for microbial cultures.
• Monitor and control fermentation parameters for optimal growth and yield.
• Perform downstream processing and purification of target biomolecules.
• Conduct process validation and scale-up studies from lab to pilot scale.
• Analyze process data and identify efficiency and cost-improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with upstream biology and downstream processing teams; ensure GMP compliance.
