About Us:
We are a multi-state law firm with a focus on creditors’ rights, default services, and financial services litigation. With a long-standing reputation for excellence and innovation, we represent and regional financial institutions in a broad range of matters. We are currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our team and support our expanding federal litigation practice.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of federal civil litigation experience, with a strong background in motion practice, strong deadline management skills, familiarity with district and individual judge part rules, and courtroom advocacy. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex matters in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team that values integrity, professionalism, and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a full caseload of federal civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Appear in federal courts for hearings, conferences, and trials
  • Advise institutional clients on litigation strategy, case risks, and resolution options
  • Ensure compliance with applicable court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
  • Work closely with team members across jurisdictions to align legal strategy and client goals

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing in New York
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on federal civil practice experience
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in creditors’ rights or financial services litigation is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Admission to multiple federal courts
  • Background in banking, consumer finance, or regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with multi-state practice and case coordination
