Job description

Salary : R18000 per month LiveOut Permanent Position

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager for a luxury boutique hotel based in Potchefstroom . This role requires a passionate and servicedriven individual who can lead the restaurant team ensure operational excellence and deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant including frontofhouse staff management and guest relations

Handle bookings for restaurant tables events and functions

Process payments when required and perform daily cashups

Ensure restaurant cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly

Coordinate staff rosters and manage waitress and barman schedules

Interpret financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting

Promote chef specials and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction

Address customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally

Conduct regular inventory audits and manage supply ordering

Ensure staff adherence to service standards and restaurant protocols

Assist with admin duties in the absence of the Restaurant Receptionist

Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

Train mentor and evaluate staff performance regularly

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow

Implement strategies to improve efficiency and maximize profitability

Maintain strong communication with hotel management and relevant departments

Promote a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in a restaurant management role

Strong leadership and team management skills

Fluent in Afrikaans and English (required)

Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities

Experience with inventory control budgeting and scheduling

Wellorganized with a proactive attitude and strong problemsolving abilities

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

A passion for food beverage and hospitality excellence
