Job Responsibilities
- Do the annual / quarterly training need analysis to obtain the training needs per department (plan, coordinate, verify, and consolidate into in-house / curriculum-based / project-specific information)
- Draft and execute the annual training calendar:
- Consolidate, plan / coordinate, and communicate the Yum annual LTO / Window, company in-house / curriculum and refresher training, project specific and all OHS / FFA into an annual training calendar for the Company (Annually / quarterly)
- Update, plan / coordinate, and communicate any changes or amendments as and when required
- Manage scheduling / planning for training activities / interventions according to training calendar
- Manage deployment of and availability of training venues and Trainers
- Manage receipt and review of all reports and or agreed feedback information following training interventions / courses or project-specific training.
- Communicate and or report as per the agreed communications / reporting framework
- Facilitate / co-ordinate training arrangements with external training providers where agreed or required
- Manage and ensure all required reporting and or feedback as per agreed reporting requirements and timelines are met

- Identify and address any issues / arising from training execution:
- Ensure proper and correct escalation of issues regarding:
- Non-compliance to training standards, processes, and procedures (via assessment, observation, and moderation processes)
- Competency of employees following training and or competence to fulfill training roles and responsibilities (on the management level)
- Identified and agreed on "risk" indicators (brand risk, breach in non-negotiables, Internal Self Scoring Audits.)
- Incorporate annual training plan and training needs into the Annual WSP
- Manage Tracking, recording, storing of information, and updating of WSP for all training interventions / activities to ensure correct and effective reporting:
- Compile and keep up-to-date POE for final reporting
- Draft Report and plan for next reporting year
- Complete and report WSP on Gov. System
- Oversee and manage the recording of and planning for OHS / FFA training to meet compliance requirements:
- Keep a record of and monitor all certified OHS / FFA employees
- Manage obtaining of training needs for gaps or non-compliance
- Manage engagement with, scheduling, and execution of training required by training provider / s
- Conduct audit / s, face-to-face observations, and Moderation:
- New / recent signed-off bench employees (competence and compliance to process and procedure)
- Classroom training / interventions / TTT (quality and consistency)
- Manage schedules / planners and execution of area and Management Trainer:
- Receive, review, and approve schedules and planners by period / quarter
- Address inefficient / unproductive planning or scheduling
- Match schedules / planners with an actual visitation, traveling history, records with the official Matrix system, address discrepancy
- Manage or oppose the execution of all people management processes:
- Performance Management

Requirements
- Tertiary Training facilitation qualification in design and adult education
- 5 years Management experience
- 5 Years of Training facilitation and design / development experience
- 5 Years working experience within the Hospitality or Retail industry
- Valid Driver’s license
- Only South African citizens will be considered
