Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in fashion, clothing etc.
- At least 4 years Buyer experience, in retail
- Willingness to travel abroad
- Able to work remotely
- Good interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Market Research: Conducting thorough market research to identify current trends, consumer preferences, and potential suppliers.
- Supplier Management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and placing orders to ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that the products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Budget Management: Managing budgets and ensuring that purchases are made within the allocated budget.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Travel: Traveling to attend trade shows, meet suppliers, and inspect products.
