Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in farm management or supervisory role in agriculture.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Farm Operations Manager to lead their agricultural operations near Queenstown in the Eastern Cape . This role requires comprehensive oversight of all farm activities, including crop production, livestock management (if applicable), labor supervision, equipment maintenance, and resource management. You will be instrumental in ensuring the farm operates efficiently, sustainably, and profitably. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, practical agricultural knowledge, and a commitment to best practices. This is a critical on-site role essential for the success and growth of the farming enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily farm operations, ensuring efficient execution of planting, cultivation, harvesting, and/or animal husbandry tasks.
• Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring productivity, safety, and adherence to work standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Manage farm resources, including water, fertilizer, feed, and energy, ensuring optimal and sustainable use.

Requirements
