Job summary

VKB Agriculture, part of the VKB Group, seeks a general labourer to assist with daily operations in the mechanization department and related activities on-site. Tasks include loading, cleaning, stock handling, and general manual duties to support technicians and branch operations.

Requirements include Grade 12 or NQF4, capability for hard manual labour, and a willingness to contribute to a clean, safe work environment. Experience in a tractor workshop is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF4.
• Able to perform hard manual labour.
• Load and offload of stock.
• Responsible to keep premises and building clean and excellent condition
• Previous experience in a tractor workshop environment will be a definite advantage
• Constantly adding value to the function of the job

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general tidiness
• Cleaning duties
• ADHOC duties as assigned from time to time
• Assist customers/suppliers with loading and offloading of stock as required according to policies and procedures
• General housekeeping of premises and building
• Customer services
• Workshop related duties including but not limited to assisting the workshop mechanic with any tasks as required
• Assist workshop mechanics and technicians with day-to-day repair and maintenance tasks.
• Hand tools, parts, and materials to mechanics during repair and assembly operations
