Job summary

VKB Group invites applications for a Mechanic role focused on maintenance, servicing, repair and inspection of agricultural equipment and machinery to ensure safe, reliable operation. Based in Delmas, you’ll work with CASE machinery, supporting both workshop and field service teams.

You’ll bring 3–5 years’ experience, a Grade 12/NQF4, and an N2 Tractor Mechanic certification. You’ll value accuracy, safety, and customer service while upholding VKB’s values.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NQF 4 is required.
• N2 — Tractor Mechanic certification completed.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a mechanic.
• Clear criminal record and team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Putting together spot-on quotations that match customer needs
• Servicing, repairing, and overhauling agricultural equipment (tractors, implements & more!)
• Ensure that all work sheets for services rendered, are done according to VKB’s policies and procedures
• Playing it safe: sticking to all Health & Safety rules
• Build long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
• Correctly complete all guarantee claims and claims information
• Sharing your knowledge — mentoring others and living the VKB values
• Cross-marketing awesome VKB products and promotions
• Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and clients
• Tackling daily ad hoc tasks with a smile
