Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive farm management experience in mixed farming.
• Proven ability to manage both crop production and livestock operations effectively.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in farm management software, record-keeping, and financial planning.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to undertake demanding physical work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crop cultivation, planning, planting, cultivation, pest control, and harvesting for various crops.
• Manage livestock operations, including breeding programs, feeding, health monitoring, and general care for cattle, sheep, or other relevant animals.
• Develop and manage the farm's annual budget, controlling expenses and optimizing resource allocation for both crop and livestock enterprises.
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of farm workers, ensuring high standards of work ethic, safety, and productivity.
• Maintain farm infrastructure, machinery, and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and properly maintained.
• Ensure compliance with all agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and animal welfare guidelines.
