About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced FAIS / Conduct Compliance Officer to oversee and manage compliance with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act and related conduct requirements. The role involves ensuring that the organisation operates within the regulatory framework set by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), and that fair customer outcomes remain central to all business practices.
Job Purpose :
The FAIS / Conduct Compliance Officer role requires one to exercise sound judgement, strong influencing skills, technical expertise and leadership in fulfilling these responsibilities.
This is a challenging role, and the successful candidate will have oversight over Conduct risk requiring considerable independent judgment and initiative as well as the use of data analysis, business problem solving skills, attention to detail and strong project management skills. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and partners across all three lines of defense.
