Job summary

Dynamic Distributors Pty in Johannesburg is seeking a Factory Manager Assistant to support daily operations in a fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing plant. You will assist with coordinating packaging lines, supervising maintenance tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards on site.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage a sizeable workforce. This is a full-time on-site position based in Johannesburg.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience as a Factory/Production Manager in FMCG food manufacturing.
• Experience with packaging machines from fill to seal.
• Mechanical knowledge on bearings, conveyors, chains, enrobers, extruders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a workforce of ~200 employees.
• Good understanding of factory maintenance principles and equipment management.
• Sound knowledge of food manufacturing processes and quality standards.
