Job Description
Our client in the Automotive Manufacturing and Distribution is looking for a Factory Accountant to join their dynamic team. If you meet the below requirements, do not hesitate to send your CV for consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Costing and Reporting

  • Prepare and submit import cost files for SAP updates.
  • Assist with scanning projects and act as a backup for the Management Accountant.
  • Maintain and correct Material Master data.
  • Monitor scanning processes, liaise with factory systems, and take corrective actions.
  • Prepare daily production scrap reports and attend related meetings.
  • Compile monthly lead balancing and scrap reports.
  • Review and report on stock counts across all sites.

Stock Control

  • Coordinate and assist with factory stock counts.
  • Investigate and resolve stock variances.
  • Report stock count results to management.

Compliance

  • Operate within procedures to ensure integrity and compliance.
  • Identify and report risks to management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations to prevent wasteful spending.

Customer Service

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Represent the company in meetings and solve problems with integrity.

Cost and Financial Control

  • Contribute to budget preparation.
  • Promote efficient and transparent use of resources.
  • Explore cost-saving opportunities

Requirements

Degree in Finance/Management Accounting or related fields (NQF 6)

Possession of or studying towards CIMA advantageous

Manufacturing experience (advantageous)

Experience in cost accounting/reporting or equivalent
