Facility Manager (JB5341)
Location: Sandton, Johannesburg
Salary: R45–50 000 CTC per month

Seeking an experienced Facility Manager to take the lead in managing multiple properties and operational sites across the group. This is a senior role that demands strategic oversight, hands-on operational control, and the ability to lead teams while keeping safety, compliance, and efficiency top of mind.
Work in the hospitality industry with some of the most renowned hotels where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in ensuring the facilities run smoothly, while contributing to long-term sustainability and business success.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or Construction
- 5+ years’ experience in a multi-site facilities management role
- Strong knowledge of South African regulations (OHSA, SANS, municipal bylaws)
- Proven experience in team leadership, contractor supervision, and vendor negotiations
- Experience in managing building maintenance, compliance, and HSE systems
- Solid project management background and understanding of sustainability practices
- Valid driver’s license
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Facilities Oversight
- Develop and execute a national facilities strategy aligned to company goals
- Oversee facilities budgets, SLAs, and performance audits
- Lead preventative and corrective maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, and infrastructure
Health, Safety & Compliance- Ensure compliance with OHSA, SANS standards, and relevant regulations
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, emergency plans, and risk management protocols
- Promote energy efficiency and environmental sustainability across all sites
Team & Contractor Management- Lead a team of on-site managers, technicians, and outsourced providers
- Coordinate staff training and ensure high performance standards
- Manage service providers for security, cleaning, maintenance, and utilities
Capital Projects & Reporting- Manage renovations, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and project consultants
- Prepare reports, feedback summaries, and facility status updates for senior leadership
Fleet Oversight- Manage and maintain the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring operational readiness and cost-efficiency
