About the role :

Are you ready to take on a role where no two days are the same Do you enjoy working in a diverse environment where your work makes a meaningful difference to the community Were looking for a proactive and personable Building and Facilities Manager to join the Facilities Management Team within Greater Newcastle Integrated Care Services which supports the daytoday operations of community health facilities across Newcastle Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens . This is a great role for an earlycareer professional ready to build their expertise from the ground up!

This position is based at the Raymond Terrace Health Centre a thriving health hub home to over 30 public and private services. You will also oversee the nearby Karuah HealthOne facility. Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will lead a small onsite team including two administration staff and one parttime maintenance staff member.

What your daytoday will look like :

  • Managing the daily operations of both Raymond Terrace Health Centre and Karuah HealthOne
  • Leading facility meetings and supporting your team with a range of operational tasks
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including GPs healthcare professionals contractors and tenants
  • Arranging and supervising onsite contractors
  • Reviewing service level agreements and completing facility audits
  • Responding to emerging issues and adapting to the unexpected every day is different!
