Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage hospitality staff, delegating tasks and duties.
  • Monitor safety and ensure cleanliness of buildings and work environments.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, interior and exterior.
  • Plan and initiate repairs and maintenance proactively.
  • Schedule emergency repairs with external vendors.
  • Ensure security measures are in place and functioning, collaborating with security services.
  • Oversee projects within timescales and budgets.
  • Coordinate resources and operations for facilities management.
  • Manage service maintenance agreements and vendor executions.
  • Source and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs for all plant and equipment.
  • Manage contracted services, obtain quotations, and oversee work orders.
  • Supervise maintenance staff for optimal performance and policy compliance.
  • Administer the facilities' budget and produce operational reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain daily operational efficacy of facilities, plant, and equipment.
  • Create reporting structures for maintenance activities.
  • Plan for weather-related changes and prepare facilities accordingly.
  • Manage vehicle repairs, services, and fleet monitoring.
  • Collaborate on budget planning with building owners and senior management.
  • Oversee installations and refurbishments, developing budgets in collaboration with leadership.
  • Manage equipment, supplies, and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Review utility consumption to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors on-site.
  • Control parking, waste disposal, and security arrangements.
  • Plan office space and manage insurance claims and contracts.
  • Sourcing and overseeing contracts for catering, cleaning, security, and technology services.
  • Advise on efficiency and cost-effectiveness improvements.
  • Supervise teams across divisions and handle emergencies.
  • Ensure facilities meet all compliance standards and regulations.
  • Plan for future facility needs and assist with office relocations.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • Advanced certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Facilities Management, Business Management, or related areas.
  • 3-5 years experience in facilities maintenance and management.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Experience in asset, plant, and equipment management.
  • Experience working with landlords, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
