Description:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, security, pool, and grounds issues are addressed, as well as managing a maintenance team.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Matric with 2-3 years of previous Facilities Management experience
  2. Strong all-round Facilities experience (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Generator, Electrical & Water Meters, etc.)
  3. Previous Body Corporate Facilities Management experience is advantageous
  4. Knowledge of Health and Safety Management
  5. Hands-on problem-solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  6. Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  7. Effective communication with staff members and hotel guests
  8. Honest and trustworthy approach
  9. Great attention to detail
  10. Presentable and well-spoken
  11. Team player who leads by example
  12. Proactive approach
  13. Interpersonal skills
  14. Leadership skills
  15. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
