Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance technician in Johannesburg. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and assist with general building tasks to keep facilities functioning efficiently.

Responsibilities include site inspections, defect reporting, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining safety and records in line with ISO policies. Joint efforts with Facilities and Technical teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 educational background.
• Relevant facilities maintenance or technical training advantageous.
• Experience in corporate facilities management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Attend to reactive maintenance requests.
• Conduct minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and repairs.
• Repair or replace defective items within scope.
• Complete maintenance safely and to quality standards.
• Site inspections and defect reporting.
• Handle work orders and updates.
• Manage tools, equipment and stock.
• Assist with office moves and site setup.
• Support contractors and PTW processes.
• Issue and monitor PTW documentation.
• Report safety hazards.
• Maintain maintenance records.
• Promote professional customer service.
