Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Facilities Maintenance and Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and cleanliness of our client’s facilities in Mahikeng (LegKraal Gate area). The role blends hands-on maintenance with team leadership to ensure that building systems function optimally and hygiene standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance and/or cleaning supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and cleaning staff.
• Oversee routine and preventative maintenance for building systems.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are met and hygiene standards maintained.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to address issues and safety hazards.
• Manage supplies, PPE, and inventory; enforce safety regulations.
