Placements24 is seeking a diligent Facilities Hygiene Officer to oversee cleaning operations and hygiene practices at our Welkom premises. The role focuses on maintaining a healthy work environment by implementing sanitation protocols and conducting regular inspections.

You will develop hygiene policies, lead a sanitation team, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This part-time position offers flexible hours and provides essential PPE and cleaning supplies to support daily

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in cleaning or sanitation services.
• In-depth knowledge of hygiene standards and facility management.
• Experience with auditing and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities performed by the sanitation team.
• Develop and implement comprehensive hygiene policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of facilities to assess cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Manage the procurement and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on proper cleaning and hygiene techniques.
