Placements24 seeks a skilled Facilities Engineer to support upstream operations near Mahikeng. The role focuses on design, construction, operation, and maintenance of production facilities in the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring facilities meet performance, safety, and environmental standards.

You will drive reliability, lead maintenance planning, coordinate with project managers and contractors, and ensure compliance with HSE protocols while contributing to operational efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in facilities engineering in upstream Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of process equipment, rotating machinery, and structural integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new production facilities and equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure reliability and integrity of existing facilities.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
