About the Role

Our client, a premier provider of integrated facilities management solutions, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Facilities Cleaning Superintendent to lead their cleaning operations in the prestigious Sandton, Gauteng area. This senior management role is responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of all cleaning and sanitation services across a portfolio of high-profile commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of advanced cleaning technologies and methodologies, and a proven ability to manage large teams, optimize budgets, and ensure unparalleled client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in cleaning operations management, facilities management, or a similar leadership role within the service industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale cleaning operations and diverse teams in a commercial or corporate setting.
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, technologies, and international best practices in hygiene and sanitation.
• Strong understanding of South African health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated financial acumen and experience in managing significant budgets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with facilities management software.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel within the Sandton and wider Gauteng area as needed.
