Facilitator – Software Developer

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Facilitator to lead a learnership program in Systems Development for learners in Upington, Northern Cape. This exciting opportunity involves guiding participants through the Occupational Certificate: Software Developer program (NQF Level 5) and equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate training sessions according to the curriculum for Occupational Certificate: Software Developer (SAQA ID: 118707).
2. Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to enhance learning and comprehension.
3. Assess and monitor learner progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
4. Ensure effective utilization of all training materials, tailored to meet learner needs.
5. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learner progress.
6. Support learners in achieving their theoretical and practical milestones.
7. Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth delivery of the learnership.

Minimum Requirements:

1. A relevant qualification in Systems Development, Software Development, or related fields (NQF Level 6 or higher preferred).
2. Accredited as a facilitator, with a valid ETDP SETA facilitator certification.
3. At least 2 years of experience facilitating learnerships or similar training programs.
4. Practical experience in software development or IT-related roles.
5. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in facilitating diverse learners in a professional and supportive manner.
7. Based in or willing to travel to Upington, Northern Cape, for the duration of the program.

Preferred Competencies:

1. Familiarity with the Occupational Certificate: Software Developer curriculum and requirements.
2. Knowledge of South African skills development frameworks, including SETA and QCTO standards.
3. Experience in mentoring and supporting learners in both theoretical and practical training environments.
