Our client based in Montagu Gardens is seeking an energetic and results-oriented External Sales Representative to join their dynamic team!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage sales portfolio by calling on existing clients and sourcing new business opportunities
• Promote marketing initiatives to increase contacts
• Prospect for new contacts and explore opportunities to gain new clients
• Follow up on leads from social media
• Negotiate and provide quotations
• Close sales and evaluate client requirements
• Follow up with wholesalers on requests and leads
• Manage promotions, breakfast runs, and other marketing initiatives
• Provide excellent after-sales service
• Resolve any problems or queries that arise
• Perform general administration duties

Requirements

• Matric plus 3 years sales experience calling on wholesalers, hardware stores, and electrical contractors, offering a range of products
• Experience in LED lighting sales is highly advantageous
• Computer literate
• Own vehicle and valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Ability to work independently without supervision
