Job description

External Sales Representative (Hybrid) – Parow, Cape Town.

An established company based in Cape Town is looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and passionate External Sales Representative to become part of their growing team.

This individual will play a key role in engaging with both existing and prospective clients, with a strong focus on the restaurant and hospitality sector. From lead generation to closing deals, the successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle.

A proven track record in sales is essential, along with excellent networking and negotiation skills.

The role requires a well-groomed, self-motivated professional who has a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

R10 000 to R15 000 per month + Commission.

R2 500 Car allowance, R1 000 Vehicle advertising allowance, R2 250 Petrol Card Allowance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Diploma / Certificate in Sales
  • Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Proven sales experience with a successful track record
  • Previous exposure to the hospitality industry
  • Experience working with POS (Point of Sale) Systems (Essential)
  • Experience working within / with restaurants (Essential)
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Well-groomed and ambitious

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals, ensuring all customer needs are met
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and product demonstrations
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and progress
