Job Title: External Sales Representative / Technical Sales Representative

A dynamic manufacturer based in Germiston is looking to employ an External Sales Representative / Technical Sales Representative with 5 years’ experience in the Plastic Fabrication industry.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric
  • Higher Education (Advantageous)
  • Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle
  • Proficiency in MS Office & Sage Pastel
  • 5 years’ experience in the Plastic Fabrication / Packaging Industry
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue by actively engaging with clients and promoting the company’s products or services outside of the office
  • Identify potential customers through research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
  • Qualify leads and convert them into new clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Provide after-sales support and resolve client issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
  • Meet with clients at their premises to present and demonstrate products/services
  • Tailor presentations to meet client needs and address objections
  • Develop territory sales plans and strategies aligned with company goals
  • Gather insights on market trends, client preferences, and competitor activity
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns
  • Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and support
