External Sales Representative – POS25198

Based: Blackheath, Cape Town

Salary: R20-30k month + Commission quarterly + Petrol allowance + Cell Allowance

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential
  • 3+ years new business sales experience in courier/logistics industry – non-negotiable
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with CRM systems (for pipeline management & reporting)
  • Working knowledge of Parcel Perfect – advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle – mandatory
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets
  • Able to provide payslip/commission proof to validate performance
  • Must have external (field) sales experience, not internal

Key Responsibilities (not Limit To)

Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential clients to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Prospect Conversion: Use a solution-selling approach to understand client needs and convert prospects into active customers.

Sales Presentations: Deliver clear, compelling presentations that effectively communicate the value of the company’s services.

Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Manage CRM pipeline data accurately to ensure consistent revenue flow and meet targets.

Client Onboarding & Training: Facilitate a smooth implementation process for new accounts, including system training and service integration.

Performance Monitoring: Track key KPIs including bad-debt, claims ratios, and service level performance to ensure client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and monitor pricing trends to position the company competitively.
