External Sales Representative – Automotive (JB5388)
Johannesburg, Gauteng
R15 000 basic + Uncapped Commission + Cell Allowance + Fuel Reimbursement
Permanent

Chase new business and grow existing accounts in the automotive aftermarket. You’ll be selling protective films, tools, and chemicals to fitment centres, dealerships, and more.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
2–3 years external sales experience
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Confident cold caller and new business hunter
Comfortable with road travel (Johannesburg and occasional regional trips)
Automotive aftermarket exposure a plus
Great with people and tight parking spots (you’ll be working from a mobile showroom)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sell directly to fitment centres, car dealerships, signage shops, and detailers
Inherit a small client base and grow it through consistent cold calling and visits
Build long-term client relationships — this isn’t a quick-sale role
Train alongside experienced reps to get product-savvy
Operate from a van-based mobile showroom and in-store where needed
Travel regionally for up to 3 nights/month
Report to Sales Lead and attend check-ins regularly
