We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven External Sales Representative to join our team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive products and a proven track record in sales. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and prospect new clients in the automotive industry, including dealerships, repair shops, and fleet management companies.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Conduct regular client visits to assess needs, present product offerings, and close sales deals.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting and selling automotive products, parts, and services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and profitability in the assigned territory.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
- Gather and report market intelligence, customer feedback, and sales data to management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product improvements and market positioning.
Customer Service and Support:
- Offer excellent post-sales support, addressing any issues or concerns clients may have.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., customer service, logistics, and finance) to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and client feedback for management review.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative in the automotive industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive products, services, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
