Job description

Our client in the 4x4 automotive industry is looking to employ an external sales representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients.

Responsibilities :

• Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan.
• Provide after-sales support to retain customers.
• Report on the status of customer accounts.
• Promote new products / services to existing customers.
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services..
• Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
• Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints or objections.

Minimum requirements :

Grade 12

Valid drivers license - code 8

Deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills

Experience in Pastel would be an advantage

Computer literate especially on MS Office

Technical drawing experience would be an advantage.

Previous experience in a 4x4 accessories sales role is an advantage

Office hours are Monday to Friday 07 : 30 to 16 : 30 Employee is required to be at the office 20 mins earlier.

Basic Salary would depend on experience

The company does pay a December incentive and Profit share annually based on individual and company performance. ( To be discussed )
