Job description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven External Sales Representative to drive demand for their products across the Gauteng region.

This exciting role involves promoting and selling to hardware stores, distributors, exporters, contractors, and developers. You’ll be responsible for growing key accounts, sourcing new business, and increasing brand visibility through on-site demos and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct customer visits daily - across Gauteng
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Deliver product samples and conduct on-site demonstrations
  • Resolve client queries promptly and professionally
  • Promote brand awareness and represent the company positively in the market

Requirements:

  • Must have own reliable transport (fuel reimbursed monthly; vehicle maintenance at own cost)
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Gauteng, including 2–4 nights away monthly for remote store visits
  • Compulsory office attendance: Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, with occasional Saturdays
  • Proven sales experience and strong interpersonal skills
