Job description

This role enables a driven and ambitious individual to become a trained Financial Planner.

Responsibilities:

  1. Understand clients’ financial needs.
  2. Determine clients’ expenses, level of income, insurance coverage, their financial objectives and goals, tax status, and risk tolerance.
  3. Answer clients’ questions and address concerns.
  4. Give advice to clients about insurance coverage, investment planning, cash management, or any other areas in order to help them reach their financial goals.
  5. Regularly review clients’ bank and other accounts and analyze their financial data to understand if life or economic changes are necessary to reach their financial goals.
  6. Prepare or interpret financial document summaries, investment performance reports, and income projections for clients.
  7. Manage and regularly update clients’ portfolios.
  8. Build and maintain your client base. This is a FAIS role.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Matric.
  2. 2 years sales experience.
  3. RE 5, FAIS qualification an added advantage but not essential.
  4. Own car.
  5. Driver's license.
  6. Laptop.
  7. Network of clients.
