As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.
You will
- Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers, as well as cross / up / repeat sales to existing customers.
- Successful market penetration and revenue growth in dewatering solutions.
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and / or solutions.
- Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
- Develop medium to long-term sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with your targeted customers.
- Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.
To succeed, you will need
- Competence in understanding and communicating product and technical information.
- Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adapt to new products / technical developments.
- Significant technical application expertise to specify the best solution for the customer.
- Clear understanding of optimized territory management.
- Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Able to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn to develop accordingly.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written English and Afrikaans required.
- Willing to travel and be on standby as and when required in the performance of duties.
- Valid driver’s license.
