Responsibilities:

  1. Apply appropriate sales processes within area of responsibility to achieve sales targets and build client relationships.
  2. Deliver exceptional service that exceeds clients' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
  3. Maximise Business Portfolio cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  4. Understand, read, and anticipate the market and clients' needs to design and deliver innovative, customized value-adding solutions to the portfolio of clients.
  5. Maintain expert knowledge on specific products, pricing, application procedure, processing, and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
  6. Retrieve all qualified leads from internal channel sales pipeline and make contact with existing or new customers to generate a sale.
  7. Source new leads through external contacts and other channels to increase customer base if required.
  8. Contact prospective clients and sell appropriate banking products to achieve sales targets.
  9. Deliver the end-to-end client management process through continuous engagement with the client on process milestones, selling the FNB value proposition, facilitating the application process on behalf of the client, preparing the proposal to credit, managing internal dependencies, closing the deal, and managing post-sales queries when relevant.
  10. Analyse competitor information gathered and ensure active monitoring of market trends and influences.
  11. Identify new business opportunities that impact the industry.
  12. Track, control, and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined sales targets in line with quality, productivity, and sales requirements.
  13. Manage own development to increase own competencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Completed a FSCA recognized FAIS relevant NQF Level 5 Qualification or higher qualification.
  2. Completed First Level Regulatory Examination.
  3. In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA), candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.
