Job description

Job Title: External Sales Consultant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an External Sales Consultant in our electrical retail store.

The incumbent will serve as an ambassador and representative of the franchise and its image. The salesperson will actively seek out and close sales deals, identify potential customers, acquire new clients, build relationships with new customers, and maintain relations with existing customers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Management: Meet sales targets.
  2. Business Process Management:
  3. Operational Requirements:
  • Analyze market environments to identify problem areas and potential opportunities.
  • Engage in cold calling to generate leads.
  • Travel to existing and potential customers to:
    • Promote the brand and franchise.
    • Sell products.
    • Promote marketing campaigns, promotions, and competitions.
    • Provide technical information and expertise.
    • Identify new projects and accounts, and attempt to close deals.
    • Identify new potential clients to expand the customer base.
    • Follow up on in-store leads.
    • Provide on-site solutions to clients.
    • Complete Field Sales Reports.
    • Assist with internal sales processes.
    • Coordinate with other department heads and managers to direct customers appropriately.

Customer Relationship Management:

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 25 years of sales experience.
  • Driver's license and own transport.
  • Degree or Diploma is advantageous.
  • South African citizenship or valid documentation.
  • Senior certificate (NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
  • Own cellphone.
