Job summary

FirstRand Group is seeking an External Sales and Service Advisor for OBR within FNB. You will drive sales, maintain expert product knowledge, and manage client relationships while ensuring governance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Candidates should have FAIS Level 5 and First Level Regulatory Examination completed, with a focus on delivering seamless client experiences and meeting sales targets in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• FSCA recognized FAIS relevant NQF Level 5 qualification.
• First Level Regulatory Examination completed.

Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate sales processes within area of responsibility to achieve sales targets and build client relationships.
• Maintenance of expert knowledge on specific products, pricing, application procedure, processing, and timelines to drive and achieve sales targets.
• Understand reasons for and comply with governance in terms of legislation and audit requirements.
• Retrieve all qualified leads from internal channel sales pipeline and contact existing or new customers to generate a sale.
• Source new leads through external contacts and other channels to increase customer base if required.
• Contact prospective clients and sell appropriate banking products to achieve sales targets.
• Deliver end-to-end client management by engaging with the client on milestones, presenting the FNB value proposition, facilitating the application process, preparing proposals to credit, coordinating internal dependencies, closing the deal and addressing post-sale queries.
