Description of the role
- Retain and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the Medical space.
- Proactively cross-sell the full Private Bank offerings and position the Investec Group.
Skills, Experience, and Education
- Minimum 3–4 years of financial services experience.
- B Com (Accounting II) / B Com HONS.
The Result
- Market and sell all Private Banking products according to budget, with in-depth knowledge of banking products.
- Source deals across all Product houses aligned with business strategy, including analysis of client spend behaviors.
- Meet targets for activities such as Lending, Treasury, Forex, etc.
- Present products and services to clients.
- Identify clients' needs.
- Apply first line of credit considering target market and serviceability for transactional banking products.
- Analyze financial statements and structure deals.
- Input and influence strategic direction to enhance High Net Worth client experience.
- Drive proactive client contact and manage expectations.
Client Management and Experience
- Provide high-quality client service professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain proactive client contact and manage expectations.
- Retain clients through excellent service and feedback.
- Act as a connector and enabler for clients' needs within other divisions of the Investec Group.
- Prepare and present deals to the Credit forum.
- Mitigate credit risk by acting as the first line of credit.
- Ensure compliance and regulatory adherence in all dealings.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
