To provide high quality service to internal business units and our International Franchise Partners. Performing all Export responsibilities in an accurate and official manner, managing risk exposure. Ensure that we remain compliant within all aspects of Exchange control and SA VAT Legislations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Able to apply and adapt to Exports protocol
Ensure that Exports operate within the legal requirements stipulated via SARB & SARS and shipments files are filed and stored as per Export requirements
Understanding applying of Incoterms
Ensure documentation for all exports are correctly processed through Customs - obtain relevant VOC's if required
Manage internal processes reporting on financial impacting factors
Manage the Claim process with our International Franchise Partners
Monitor and report on Foreign proceeds received as per Exchange control legislation
Manage daily and report weekly on Inventory control for stock locations
Ensure Exports picking progress is updated daily and communicated to relevant BU's - Planning and Operations
Monitor and manage exports staging capacity throughout peak periods, ensuring space availability for picking, inspections and loading to continue
Ensuring that the correct process is followed concerning Product recalls communicated
Monitor and report on shelf life requirements in line with FIFO
Manage and report on consignment shortages / overs. Ensuring that the claim control sheet is updated, investigations executed within the time frames and corrective measurements taken according to EC & SA VAT Act legislations
Understand the documentation requirements pertaining to the export of perishable shipments
Monitor Debtors accounts closely and provide support to AR for releasing of foreign funds and allocating of payments
Oversee and manage Government inspection requirements - ensuring that product labelling and specifications are adhered to
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum of 3 years' exporting experience
Knowledge of Exchange Control & SA VAT legislation
Knowledge of Incoterms
Familiar with all aspects of Road, Sea and Airfreight exports
A minimum of Grade 12
Diploma in International Trade Management (Exports) or (Imports) or a Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
