Job description

Job title: Health & Safety Administrator

Job Location: KwaZulu-Natal, Pinetown

Deadline: April 05

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Receives and collates risk related documents
  2. Safecyte administration tasks on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
  3. Batches and completes control sheets
  4. Files all documents specific to health and safety requirements
  5. Prepare for risk and site audits
  6. Physical checks to ensure risk compliance
  7. Assist with Facilities duties in the absence of the Facilities and Warehouse Manager
  8. Hands-on maintenance tasks
  9. Assists with general clerical duties
  10. Perform ad hoc functions in operations as and when required
  11. Perform procurement functions as and when required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE
  1. Post Matric Certificate / Diploma Office Administration / Health & Safety Management.
  2. Bachelor's degree preferred
  3. At least 3 years clerical / administration experience
  4. Excellent command of the English language
  5. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Must pay attention to detail
  7. Must be a team player
  8. Must be able to work independently
  9. Must be professional at all times
  10. Must be highly computer literate
  11. Must be proactive
  12. Demonstrate excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  13. Willing to work overtime when required
  14. Driver's license Code 08 would be advantageous
