My client, a leading manufacturer and exporter to the global rail industry, is looking for an Export Sales Manager to join their team in Vereeniging.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Execution of effective marketing and sales plans of products into the designated markets/customers.
- Ensure that the operating sales plans are timeously executed for all products in line with the technical, quality, and commercial requirements.
- Ensure that technical, commercial, and legal liaising takes place to ensure accurate interpretation of customer requirements.
- Build solid Customer relationships
- Ensure that market and competitor analyses are conducted, with outcomes communicated and incorporated into the business plans
- Provide timeous customer feedback on product and service performances
- Accurate and timeous submission of reports and forecasts.
- Ensure that all customers, distributers, agents, and end users are well serviced and managed
- Tender management
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in marketing/commercial/business development or technical qualification with strong marketing and sales experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position with a record of business development.
- Rail industry experience will be advantageous.
- Strong commercial background and purpose driven
- Multilingual in European languages will be advantageous
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally
