Job description

The position requires an independent, well-organized person who is required to frequently travel overseas and must have the ability to deal with customer diversities.

The successful candidate must have the following experience:

  • Excellent selling skills, including 5 years sales experience
  • Knowledge of Polymers, textiles, and plastics (an advantage)
  • Previously travelled extensively overseas on business
  • Knowledge of Export procedures and regulations
  • Computer Literacy
  • General business and financial understanding

COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent selling skills and must have the ability to deal with customer diversities
  • Relevant tertiary education
  • Code 08 Driver’s License
  • A proven achievement track record in sales
  • Up to date with product knowledge, sales, market trends
  • Good communication skills with customers, colleagues, and all role players

  • A good understanding of the organization's policies and procedures
  • Complete accurate and quality paperwork
  • Protecting the company against risk
  • Exercise caution in dealing with customer expectations
  • Represent the company in networking within an external and challenging business environment
  • Follow up on sales opportunities (leads)
  • Keep customers up to date throughout the sales process
  • Urgent focus on selling process and the required timeline
  • Monitor, record, analyze, and report on activities, results, and recommendations
  • Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner
  • Plan and Manage sales through Distributors, individuals, and other relevant outlets
  • Negotiate, renew, or review contracts for sales as required in accordance with organizational policy and procedures
