Job summary

Enaex in Secunda, South Africa, is seeking a proactive Production Operations Specialist to monitor production processes, oversee product flow, track quality control, inspect materials and final products, and verify consistency.

You will optimise efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and complete daily administrative tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes within the area of responsibility by overseeing product flow, tracking quality control, inspecting and testing materials and final products, verifying consistency, optimising efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and completing daily administrative tasks.
• Enhance productivity and minimise waste by identifying process improvement opportunities, developing and presenting recommendations, implementing approved changes, and measuring results as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues or deviations by collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying root causes, implementing effective solutions, and ensuring resolution within set deadlines.
• Track performance by capturing and analysing production data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and generating reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure effective implementation of SHE by delivering comprehensive training, completing training programs, and addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance.
• Monitor SHE performance by establishing clear standards, ensuring timely completion of monitoring activities, and resolving issues within defined deadlines.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating regular communication, exchanging feedback, and supporting collaboration.
• Contribute to the team by actively participating in team events, identifying areas where support is needed, and providing the necessary assistance.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, participating in training sessions, and proactively sourcing answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis.
